Ace is a 2-3 year old lab/doodle mix! His birthday is hard to pin down because he was rescued and his breed is a matter of some controversy given that the genetics say one thing, but people in the know are convinced he must be a terrier. Should you meet Ace, feel free to make your own assessment!
Ace is a playful, friendly doggo who comes to the office with Lisa on many Fridays, and he's working his way up to more days, as determined by school schedules (The children protest when Ace is taken to work when they're home) and his tolerance for emotional labor and humans on laptops.
Ace is fully unlicensed and untrained, and yet seems to really enjoy being a therapist, especially with groups, where he often roams about and puts a paw on the knee of someone who might be talking or may need some emotional support. He loves pets and while he may jump on you a bit when you arrive, he's working on this and Lisa can often keep him on the ground with treats. If you don't want any contact with Ace, he can be encouraged to take a nap, which he doesn't mind at all.
And despite his lack of training, he's never once broken confidentiality!
