    Robyn Gearey, LMSW
    Supervisee in Social Work

    Robyn is a pre-licensed social worker in Virginia (LMSW) and Maryland (LMSW) working under the supervision of Lisa Kays, LICSW, LCSW-C, LCSW. 

    Robyn takes a relational approach to therapy, taking time to build a strong therapeutic alliance with each client. She meets clients wherever they are in their healing process and seeks to empower them to discover their strengths and develop healthy approaches to address challenges in their lives. Robyn believes therapy is a partnership, not a dictatorship! If you’re looking for an engaging, responsive therapist who doesn’t “just sit there,” Robyn’s approach might be a good fit!

    Rachel Doyle

    LICSW

    Rachel is an independent clinical social worker (LICSW) practicing in Washington, D.C., working with adults navigating anxiety, depression, substance use, grief, life transitions, burnout, and parenting stress, including parents raising neurodivergent children.
    Rachel takes a collaborative, affirming approach rooted in the belief that mental health is shaped by both individual experience and the systems we live within. She brings a direct but compassionate style, blending authenticity, curiosity, and humor while trusting that clients already hold the capacity for healing within themselves. Rachel also provides clinical supervision for professionals in community mental health, housing, medical, and substance abuse settings, and is a founding member and Treasurer of SWEAR, advocating for more equitable social work licensing.

    Lisa is a licensed clinical social worker practicing in Washington, D.C., Maryland, Virginia, and Oregon, specializing in helping adults, couples, and groups navigate challenges in relationships and well-being. She believes that all thoughts, feelings, and behaviors make sense within the context of past experiences, and she works with patients to foster self-compassion and explore new ways of thinking, feeling, and relating. 

    Lisa’s therapy approach is warm, dynamic, and rooted in social justice, with a commitment to anti-racist practice. She also integrates improvisation into her work and trains therapists in ethical social media use and group therapy practices.
